On Sunday 21st September, a fearless group from our team swapped desks and site work for dirt and took on the Tough Mudder 5K — and what a challenge it was.
From the first obstacle to the final muddy sprint, the course delivered exactly what it promised: mud, sweat, teamwork, and more than a few moments of “why did we sign up for this?”. Climbing walls, crawling through mud, and pushing past physical and mental limits, the team showed real grit and determination every step of the way.
But this challenge wasn’t just about testing endurance — it was about making a difference.
Running (and Crawling) for a Cause
The team took on Tough Mudder in support of The Lighthouse Charity, and thanks to the incredible generosity of friends, family, colleagues, and supporters, they raised an amazing £960. Every donation helped turn muddy trainers and aching muscles into something truly meaningful, supporting vital work within our community.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part — not just for completing a tough course, but for doing it with positivity, teamwork, and a shared purpose. Whether it was lending a hand over a wall, offering encouragement through the tougher stretches, or simply laughing through the mud, the spirit of the day summed up what teamwork is all about.

Thank You
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the team — through donations, messages of encouragement, or cheering from the sidelines. Your support made a real difference and helped carry the team through even the toughest obstacles.
And of course, congratulations to our muddy, sweaty, victorious team for stepping up to the challenge and crossing that finish line.
What’s Next?
For those thinking this was a one-off… think again.
This is just the beginning. The next challenge is already on the horizon — Tough Mudder 15K in 2026
If this year proved anything, it’s that with the right mindset (and a lot of teamwork), there’s no obstacle too big.
