We are FORS Accredited Again!

FORS Silver Accreditation

Briant Traffic is proud to have recently passed the FORS accreditation again—for another year running. Since we started, we have strived to improve our fleet operations to be able to become FORS accredited. From upgrading all our vehicles since 2019 to meet Euro 6 emissions to regular staff training in vehicle and driver safety, we made sure to level up our operations and achieve the highest standards of services throughout London.

What It Means to be FORS Accredited?

With over 4,250 members, FORS (Fleet Operation Recognition Scheme) is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor, and continuously improve their performances.

FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements. Briant Traffic has a large involvement in TFL contracts across many varied clients. Part of our contract awards is to monitor Work-related Road Risk (WRR), and by working with FORS to become accredited, we do this on a regular basis.

What’s Next for Briant Traffic?

Just because we have been FORS accredited again doesn’t mean we’ll stop there. By the end of 2022, we aim to upgrade 20% of our fleet vehicles to all-electric vehicles and reduce our carbon footprint on the planet. We also plan to recycle 100% of our groundwork arising into re-usable aggregate.

There is so much in store for Briant Traffic, and we commit ourselves to providing sustainable, reliable, and highest quality of service to the people of London.
