About Us
Briant Traffic
Established in 2017, Briant Traffic, a specialist in civil and electrical engineering, has achieved rapid growth within the industry by delivering the highest standards in highway maintenance works.
In a relatively short space of time, the Kent based company has gained a solid reputation for quality work, delivered on time and on budget.
Covering the full breadth of London and the South East, Briant Traffic's team serves both the private and public sectors to deliver on contracts of all sizes.
From civil engineering works, such as dropped kerbs, footpath construction, drainage installations and cable pulling, to large scale electrical engineering and traffic light installations projects.
Working independently, or supporting partners, Briant Traffic's highly trained workforce install and maintain ITS, street lighting, traffic management and vehicle detection systems.
Skills and expertise
Today, a 17-strong, highly trained workforce is subdivided into five specialist crews: Traffic management, Detection, Street lighting, Civil engineering and Installation. With each crew member dedicated to their specific area of expertise.
Technology doesn't stand still in the world of highways maintenance, with intelligent traffic systems constantly advancing to ensure the UK's highways and byways run smoothly.
These ever evolving, increasingly intelligent, systems not only require specialist installation, but also need to be constantly updated and maintained by skilled workers.
So, not only does Briant Traffic employ only the best technicians, with a rigorous training programme, it ensures that the whole team's skills are kept bang up to date and fully accredited.
And with a strong commitment to the team and its safety, Briant
Traffic sees training as not just an investment in individual team
members, but also as an investment in the company as a whole.
Safety and environment
Every crew member is 100 percent competent and fully qualified in their area of specialism. Which means that not only are they ready to do their job well and safely, they're conscious of the whole worksite environment and the safety of others.
As well as CSCS and specialist, individual competencies, such as HERS and NRSWA, Briant Traffic is HESA and LANTRA approved.
And looking to the wider environment, Briant Traffic takes sustainability seriously and has practices and competencies put in place to ensure minimal impact both onsite and in the office.
From taking care of the immediate worksite and its surrounding flora and fauna, to opting for materials that have been either recycled or can be disposed of responsibly, sustainability is at the heart of the business.
Our values
Values such as these don't just maketh the man, they maketh the business, too. And as well as being committed to reducing its impact on the environment, being dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of its staff, Briant Traffic is committed to its community.
Giving back
As well as sponsoring a local Kent football team, members of staff are always keen to do their bit to support good causes in Kent. Even if that means getting up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning and donning walking shoes with some pretty outlandish, but hilarious clothing for the odd 10-mile walk...
Which is what eight of the team did recently to raise funds for The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity – the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial support to construction workers and their families.
